![]() Speaking of Conflicts, the resolve conflicts screen is really nice but it is nice to see what has changed, what's new, what has conflicts. I don't commit, push, pull from the IDE although you can. (Code Completion is much harder in a dynamically typed Interpreted Language than a static one like C++, C#, or Java) I have used the refactor feature several times without issueĬode Completion works the best I have seen for a Python IDE. ![]() Search Across Project Feature works really well. Can this be done in other editor's? sure, but I like how P圜harm does it (Which basically copies from every other IDEs, but not necessarily other editors.) I find it very easy to switch tabs and open the right files for my project. As someone pointed out you can get that with a vim plugin or other free editor, but it's just on and working when I turn on P圜harm It's almost as good as Visual Studio's (Which I think is the best Debugger I have ever worked with.) (Bugs get fixed faster and releases happen more often and regularly.)ĭebugger. PyDev is one guy and P圜harm is maintained by a team of people. ![]() using Eclipse PyDev:Įclipse isn't made for Python and it's just slow and not very good for it. However I know many a developer who thinks IDEs are evil and VIM is the only thing you ever need, so I suppose you have to take everything from the perspective of who is using it. I use P圜harm every day and I think it is very much worth the money and I have also purchased a license for my one employee.
